CPR, AED & First Aid for Community Rescuers (6 hours)
This HSI class teaches you to identify and treat workplace medical and injury emergencies. Topics include choking, heart attack, stroke, bleeding, burns, broken bones, diabetic, epileptic and allergic reactions and the use of personal protective equipment. You will also practice Adult CPR, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This lively, hands-on training teaches you to react quickly and effectively in an emergency. Two year certification.
Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED (3 hours) The CPR course for California teachers
This HSI course meets the standards of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and includes practice in the skills of Adult and Pediatric CPR, the use of an AED (defibrillator) and the obstructed airway rescue. Two year certification.
HSI Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (8 hours) This course meets EMSA childcare licensing requirements.
Designed for childcare professionals, this HSI class teaches the skills of CPR and First Aid, including the use of a defibrillator (AED) for infants, children and adults. Includes modules on bleeding, burns, asthma, allergic reactions and environmental emergencies. Two year certification. EMSA stickers included. Available in English or Spanish

LifeStart First Aid and CPR/AED (3 hours)
This fast-paced workplace training crams five hours of training into three hours, with lots of hands-on practice and realistic scenarios. How can we do that? We leave out the mandatory lectures, videos and testing of the certified class, and put you right to work. Learn how to respond effectively to heart attack, stroke, fractures, rapid bleeding, seizures, allergic reactions, and burns - and have fun in the process! Handouts included. Available in English or Spanish
Infant and Child CPR (2.25 hours)
Learn infant and child resuscitation for life-threatening emergencies. Class covers breathing and cardiac emergencies from birth to age twelve, including choking, drowning, suffocation, electric shock and poisoning. Review materials and a home safety checklist included. Available in English or Spanish
Infant and Child First Aid and CPR (3 hours)
Includes CPR and choking practice, as well as rescue procedures for cuts, burns, poisoning, head injuries, seizures, severe allergic reactions and shock for children up to about twelve years old. First Aid handout included. Available in English or Spanish
